Taco Boss

Taco Boss was a new company that serves tacos from a food trunk. They were starting from scratch and needed branding to give the new business an identity. I created many designs for them throughout the years including logo design, print documents, digital documents and product photography. Here’s some of the projects I’ve worked on for them.

Logo Design

Problem: Create a unique logo that represents the brand identity of a woman-owned small business, with a sexy theme.

Solution: Created a logo that included a female character as a taco in a superior but sexy stance. I created two versions; one square and one rectangular to be used on a variety of label dimensions.
Software Used: Adobe Illustrator

Results: The owner was very happy with the design and both designs were able to be used on food labels, truck wraps and social media ads.

Product Photography

Problem: The owner needed a way to present their different dishes for both printed and digital menus

Solution: Created high quality photos of their different food dishes
Software Used: Lightroom, Photoshop

Solution: The owner was now able to use the photos for menus and advertisements to bring in new customers

Taco Boss Menu

Problem: The owner didn’t have a menu that could be presented to customers interested in the different food items. She wanted to use unique names for the food items but needed a way to describe what the items were.

Solution: Designed a menu that showcased their different food items and unique names with descriptions of each. Also used the one of the food photos I previously created.
Software Used: Adobe InDesign

Results: The owner was able to use the menu for both online and print sales. Customers were able to put in food orders based on their unique names.
