Hondu Mexi
Hondu Mexi is a food truck that specializes in a mix if Mexican and Honduras food. I was tasked with creating graphics and food photography. These are some of the projects created for them.
Logo Remake
Problem: I was tasked with creating a 6ft tall food menu that would be placed on the side of the food truck. The logo I was given to be used with it was a small image that was very low resolution, and wouldn’t have looked great in print. The colors of the logo also didn’t match other designs he had on his truck.
Solution: Recreated the logo using Adobe Illustrator and also made a few changes to make the logo match brand colors and be more balanced with the business name standing out
Software Used: Adobe Illustrator
Results: We were able to print a high quality menu with a high quality logo.
Menu Design
Problem: HonduMexi needed an updated menu for their Mexican dishes that would stand out to English and Spanish speaking customers.
Solution: Took photos for each dish being served, and created a 6ft menu that would be printed as a decal and put on the side of the truck. Used colors and images that created a Mexican theme, with both English and Spanish Translations.
Software Used: Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
Results: HonduMexi was able to successfully bring attention to the Mexican dishes, and because of the translations; customers weren’t confused about what the food items were.
